One of the cutest things was the head band that Rebecca lovingly put on Narla to keep her calm during her dry off. We have since had a deshedding treatment Narla has never felt so soft! Her excess hair which used to accumulate like puppies around our home seem to be a thing of the past! I highly recommend this company and workmanship is next level.

- We will welfare shave matted coats with the owner’s permission, as this is the humane thing to do.
- We will not work with difficult/ aggressive dogs.

About us
We are fully insured, and studying Dog Behaviour and Training Certificate, as well as Pet First Aid.
Having grown up in a family breeding and showing Dalmatians, I have owned, and trained many dogs, including Dalmatians, Border Collies, Golden Retrievers. I am also experienced in riding, training and show prep of horses. I currently have a tribe of three dogs who are behind the logo for the business. A Golden Retriever, a Groodle and a Chihuahua (as well as owning 2 cats and 5 chooks).
I have always had a love for animals and particularly dogs. I am always for the dog first.

Conditions
Grooming time estimation
Grooming prices and times are approximate and are dependent on size of dog, coat length, coat condition and behaviour.
Clipping
We do not offer breed style clips to show standards at this time.
Aggressive / Difficult Dogs
We reserve the right to refuse/ stop services for pets that are aggressive. You must inform us if your dog bites, has bitten or is aggressive to people or other pets or specific grooming procedures. We may use a muzzle in some cases to protect the pet and groomer.
Product used
Fleas
All flea affected dogs require treatment 1-2 days prior to appointment with a product such as CapstarTM or similar.
If your pet is found to have fleas an extra cost will be incurred for flea treatment wash and decontamination cleaning of our workspace. Your home environment will require also treatment and cleaning.
Medical conditions
Please inform us of any relevant medical conditions or health issues for your pet, such as heart conditions, arthritis, back or neck problems, breathing problems and current treatments prior to the service. Some medical conditions can make grooming stressful on pets. In the event of a medical episode, veterinary care will be sought if required at owners cost.
Matting
Mattes in pet coats only grow tighter and can strangle the pets skin and eventually tear it open. Matted coats require a welfare shave/clip at an extra cost. Skin irritation and bruising can occur often due to underlying skin problems presenting once mattes are shaved off including parasites. We will not attempt to de-matte badly matted coats. We can educate you on correct tools and brushing techniques to minimise matting in the future.
Disclaimer
Grooming equipment is sharp. While we use extreme care and caution, accidents can occur usually when a pet is wriggling. Every effort will be made to insure your pet is groomed as safely as possible, however some pets may have reactions to products and/or procedures such as shaving, or ear plucking etc. Adelaide dog grooming will not be held responsible or liable for costs incurred for any medical treatment or veterinary liabilities.
